By accessing or using CarKin's platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
You must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license to rent vehicles. Car owners must be at least 18 years old and possess valid vehicle registration and insurance.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Car owners must provide accurate information about their vehicles, including condition, insurance coverage, and availability. CarKin reserves the right to remove listings that violate our policies or applicable laws.
All rentals are subject to agreement between the owner and renter. CarKin facilitates these transactions but is not a party to the rental agreement. Both parties must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
CarKin charges a 5% service fee to car owners and a 10% booking fee to renters. All fees are clearly disclosed before any transaction is completed. Payments are processed securely through our platform.
CarKin provides insurance coverage for all rentals as outlined in our insurance policy. However, users are responsible for deductibles and damages not covered by our policy. Please review the insurance details carefully before renting.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start time receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to fees as determined by the car owner's policy.
Users may not use CarKin for illegal activities, racing, off-road driving (unless explicitly permitted), or any activity that violates the rental agreement. Violations may result in account termination and legal action.
CarKin reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
