For hosts, every trip through CarKin includes comprehensive protection. Owners retain their regular, compulsory vehicle insurance and our coverage kicks in during active rentals. Hosts can choose from two different available protection plans. Renters can choose from two different optional protection options to protect themselves from any damage incurred to the vehicle or other property while operating their rental vehicle.

All renters must complete identity verification before booking. We verify government-issued ID, ensure they have a valid drivers license, and pre-authorize their selected payment method when they book.

Document the condition before and after each trip using the app. If damage occurs, report it immediately through the app. Our claims team will guide you through the process. Deductibles and coverage details vary — you'll see full terms before your first trip.

Yes! You can list as many vehicles as you own from a single account. Our dashboard makes it easy to manage multiple listings, track earnings, and handle bookings across your entire fleet.

We're launching in select cities soon. Join the waitlist to be notified when we're available in your area. Early waitlist members will get priority access and special launch promotions.

Earnings are automatically transferred to your bank account within 14 days after each completed trip. You can track all your earnings, upcoming payouts, and payment history in your host dashboard.

Late returns are automatically charged at an hourly rate (typically 1.5x the daily rate prorated). You'll receive these additional earnings. For significant delays, our support team can assist with rebooking or compensation.
